The Guest List

So this is the 2nd video in our small Group series, “Jesus Throws the Best Parties.” I had someone stop me in a Blockbuster on Friday, and asked me if I had just been in a video for a small group he was attending. He didn’t go to RHCC, but he had been invited to one of our small groups and he was getting genuinely connected with community.

P.S. I’ve been traveling the last couple of days, but I plan on posting on blog on the Sovereignty of God in churches Thursday morning.

How does one survive this world without friends, especially our very first and Holy of friends??

Likewise, friendships on this earth bring such great pain when we lose one …. when one goes before us into the arms of our first and Holy of friends. Inclusion and friendship carry the caveat of not only experiencing great joy, but also great pain when we are separated. How much greater is pain when the One we separate from is that same, first and Holy One.
Praise Him in eternal thanksgiving for His loving grace and mercy shown in reconciliation and return to intimacy that friendship holds for us.
